An estimated 11.3 million Americans suffer from speech or language disorders, accounting for five percent of the population. Approximately 3 million (25%) of those with speech and language problems are between the ages of 5 and 21.

Speech and Language Therapists offer assessment, treatment, and advice to people of all ages with a communication disorder and/ or an eating, drinking, or swallowing difficulty.

Individuals with communication disorders encounter many problems. Children with communication disorders can experience difficulties in learning and find it hard to establish relationships with others. Communication disorders in adults can adversely affect social interactions and often create emotional problems, which may interfere with the ability to earn a living.

Speech pathology in the private practice setting has grown tremendously in recent years. Working in private practice has enabled me to develop customized treatment programs with the flexibility unmatched by traditional institutions. This kind of individualized approach often results in faster improvement. I am able to more effectively counsel the patient and family members thus insuring more substantial carry-over into everyday life.

My office is designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere to promote optimum progress in therapy.
